Process Operator

Celanese Production Sweden AB manufactures water-based binders for the paint, adhesive, paper, construction, textile, and non-woven industries, designed for high-tech requirements. The company is located in Perstorp in northern Skåne and has about 70 employees. Celanese Production Sweden AB is part of the American global chemical company Celanese Corporation based in Dallas, Texas, USA.

As the company is currently in need of recruitment due to retirements and more, there is now an opportunity to apply for the position of Process Operator with us.

We will be able to offer at least one vacant position, possibly more, which involves full-time work with continuous 5-shift.

Main Responsibilities

· Weighing raw materials and mixing solutions according to recipes, filling IBCs, and moving finished products

· Verification and validation of the correct materials used in accordance with the production plan

· Manufacturing of product – operation via process computer

· Troubleshooting in abnormal process conditions

· Sampling and analysis of samples

· Performing observations and identifying and communicating incidents

We expect you to promote a good safety, quality, and operational safety culture together with colleagues, contractors, and visitors, and to strive for order and cleanliness in accordance with the hygiene requirements necessary for our products.

Who are you?

In your role, you will interact with other departments, which means that good collaboration skills are a must. You also have good initiative, work carefully and systematically, are engaged and self-driven. A strong focus on safety is of utmost importance. Forklift driving is part of the role.

Since Celanese is an international company, it is important that you have basic knowledge of English in both spoken and written form, in addition to Swedish.
